Elizabeth Gonzalez
Ms. Liz began her training studying the Cecchetti Method at the National Ballet in Crofton, Maryland under the direction of Helen and Pamela Moore. As a freshman in high school she was accepted into Suitland High School’s Visual and Performing Arts program as a dance major. After high school Ms. Liz majored in dance at Mercyhurst University under the direction of Tauna Hunter. She graduated with a BA in Dance in 2010 and went on to perform as a professional dancer with Atlanta Festival Ballet for six seasons. During her time with Atlanta Festival Ballet she had the opportunity to perform many roles such as Clara, Dew Drop, and Arabian in The Nutcracker, Pas de Trios from Swan Lake, Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland, and Anna in A Tale of Two Sisters: A Frozen Ballet. Ms. Liz is currently enrolled at Grand Canyon University working on a MA in Elementary Education. This is her sixth year with Gwinnett Ballet Theatre.
