2007-2008 PAYMENT POLICIES
- Tuition is prorated and reflects a calculation of all months. There are no adjustments for months with holidays or in months with five weeks.
- Tuition payments are due the first lesson of the month.
- Tuition and fees can be made payable to Gwinnett Ballet Theatre or GBT.
- Payments may be made by check, exact cash amount or credit/debit cards. We accept Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.
- Payments received after the 10th are assessed a $15.00 late fee. Payments are considered late any time after the due date. (This includes payments dated after tuition due date)
- A $20.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks.
- Students with tuition fees outstanding for more than 2 weeks will not be allowed to continue classes.
- No refunds on Registration Fees, Costume Fees, Production Fees for unattended classes.
- Any missed class may be made up in another class within the month.
- Tuition adjustments due to extended absences for any reason must be approved by the School Director.
- The GBT office must be notified in writing when a student withdraws. Full tuition for the month the student stops attending classes and the month following are due. Refunds or deductions are not permitted.
STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT

Dancers should arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class time in order to be ready to begin class at the scheduled time.

Only appropriate attire is to be worn in class. T-shirts and other unnecessary addition garments are not to be worn unless authorized by teacher.

There will be no talking in class.

Dancers will conduct themselves in an appropriate and respectful manner during class.

There will be no gum or candy allowed in class.

There will be no hanging on the barres at any time.

There will be no food or beverages other than water allowed in the studios. Studios should be picked up upon departure.

The teacher will be treated with the utmost respect at all times.

The faculty will be properly thanked after each class.
ATTENDANCE AND BEHAVIOR
Discipline is an integral part of dance training. Since the first 15 minutes of class are crucial to properly warm the muscles, all students are required to be on time. Anyone arriving 15 minutes after class begins without proper advance notification will not be allowed to participate but may observe the class.
In the event of an absence due to illness or family emergency, please notify the office so that the instructor may be informed. Regular attendance of classes is essential in order to advance through the levels of study.
It is essential that all students conduct themselves in an appropriate and respectful mannet during class.
Disruptive or disrespectful behavior will result in the student being required to sit out or be dismissed from the class resulting in parental notification.
APPEARANCE AND ATTIRE
A neat appearance is an essential part of a dancer's discipline. Students must wear coverings when outside. Dance shoes should be worn only in the studio.
Ballet students' hair should be secured off the face and neck in a classic ballet bun. Hair for other classes should be secured off the face and neck in a pony tail style.
No additional garments should be worn during class unless requested by the instructor.
