Gwinnett Ballet Theatre's Pre-Professional Division is designed for dancers who are seeking high level training geared towards preparing for a professional career in ballet. In addition to their ballet classes, students in the Pre-Professional Division receive instruction in pointe, pas de deux, & variations, in addition to supplemental classes in Modern & Jazz.
Comprised of the Apprentice & Performance Division (PD) levels, the students in the Pre-Professional Division perform corps de ballet and soloist roles throughout the year.
Auditions are required for PD & Apprentice students. Placement is determined by the Artistic staff.

All students must adhere to the GBT dress code. All girls are required to wear a leotard (*refer to the levels below for the appropriate color and style); Ballet Pink Body Wrappers tights (C45 or A45); and Pink ballet slippers with elastic strap. Hair for girls should be in a bun or similar style if possible; short hair secured with a band; all bangs neatly pinned or sprayed back.
